Baraboo-hoo-hoo

I pull into a gas station here in Baraboo, getting some gas and directions to Futuretron, and when I come out I see this ever growing puddle of coolant running out from under Ragnar. In my panic I still manage to get myself to the nearest car shop, where they tell me they're almost closed (everything closes at 5 in a small town), and since the engine's so hot they won't know for sure what's wrong with it until the following morning. As the nice mechanic drives me to this Inn to put me up for the night, he tells me it could be something relatively simple like a leaky hose, or I could've blown a head gasket and it would cost me as much as I paid for the van to fix it. Once I get into my horribly decorated room and cry myself (temporarily) dry, I turn to my trusty cell phone to call parents and friends seeking advice, only to find I have NO PHONE SERVICE!! I walk down the highway to a local bar, still no service. I drink some beers, each some deep fried cheese curds, feel just as shitty. I walk back up the highway to the Barn, where I found the proprieter and patrons to be much more friendly (still no service). With their assistance I drank myself nearly sick, then topped it off with simultaneously smoking an entire cigarette and riding an old fashion rope and board swing. This was officially the worst night I have had in a very long time. I was stranded in the middle of no where, completely cut off from everyone, thinking the next morning I may have to figure out how to limp myself and all my stuff home (once again) with my tail between my legs. However, in the morning I found the news to be better than not, and with minimal financial damage and time wasted, the wonderful men at the Pit Stop had me on my way. Thank guys, and thanks everyone at the Barn and Willowood!!I tried to photograph these very picturesque geese when they turned and began chasing me and honking threateningly. I'll admit I ran for it- but they gave good chase, the mean bastards! While waiting for Ragnar to be fixed, I ate lunch at the China buffett (terrible idea), then walked around this circus museum (I didn't go in as they wanted like 15$ admission, plus extra for rides!!) I can't imagine it was any more exciting on the inside.
Home of mechanical miracle workers!
