Downtown Missoula- I really dig this town. If I wasn't intent on getting further away, I would have liked to stay a bit longer and really check it out!
Both the Missoula Club and the Rhinoceros are great dive bars where you can toss your peanut shells right on the floor. In fact, I had peanuts for the sole purpose of doing this. The Rhino also had "Around the world in 40 beers" (on tap), and this great door to the ladies room! I also got to kiss a rhino!
The Top Hat was also a cool spot, where I saw this (mellow) bluegrass band Joy Kills Sorrow. I'd just like to note that everyone I encountered in Missoula was very friendly and talkative, which is appreciated by a loner in an unfamiliar town!
